Entrepreneurs at Work

The 21st century has been all about entrepreneurs at work, globalization, modernization, and technologization, all collectively shifting the paradigm of business to one that was never known previously. Technology is one of the critical drivers of Business Success, and if someone is looking for Business Mastery, then technology mastery is a critical component for those looking to get better as entrepreneurs.  Entrepreneurs at work and the ongoing Business Mastery movement has people looking at financial wisdom as an ongoing process rather than a successful or failed model in totality. Global markets have expanded into unimaginable business horizons and business moguls need to stay constantly updated.

In a world of global businesses, we need to keep striving to learn, improve and sensitize ourselves to the diversity. If you are an entrepreneur, then this effort is no more a luxury but more of a requirement to keep your business going and this requires your employees to be equally sensitive and informed, while also reiterating their value and contribution to keep them motivated and giving their efforts a purpose!

Similar to business operations and logistics, leadership too has revolutionized into a more collaborative endeavor. Present-day leadership is less about autocracy and more about identifying potential and growing a co-created workspace, nurtured by coaching, vision and life skills.  That enables entrepreneurs to thrive and one can see entrepreneurs at work.

Businesses are popping up every second, multiple as we speak, so what is the secret to a successful business model, or business mastery? The business plan is crucial of course, but the success rate is heavily dependent on entrepreneurship skills, which itself has many facets. Those that add value to a venture whilst valuing the workers that have contributed to it, those that teach their subordinates whilst being open to learning a variety of lessons and most of all, those that are equally open to giving and receiving feedback, are successful entrepreneurs!

Value as an entrepreneur work

You too can gauge your value as an entrepreneur and your entrepreneurial spirit with the below questionnaire, if you are an entrepreneur at work:

  1. Are you truly passionate about something and believe in it with your heart and soul?
  2. Does this passion outwardly reflect as an additional value for your customers and clients?
  3. If it does have an added benefit, how would you describe this value?
  4. Are you someone who envisions a plethora of opportunities around you?
  5. In a world full of opportunities, do you see yourself reaping each and every one of them to grow?
  6. Are you someone who can identify problems and act on them?
  7. Do you dig deep into a problematic area, knowing the root of it will perhaps give you the solution to fixing it?
  8. Are you someone who likes a challenge and are inclined to problem-solving behaviorisms?
  9. Are you a risk-taker?
  10. In a situation, would you pick a safe paycheck or a risky faith in your skills?
  11. What skills do you possess in terms of risk management?
  12. Do you have faith in your management skills?
  13. Do you have a business plan? Where do you see your business after 5 years?
  14. Are you working towards making sure your business is the way you visualize it?
  15. Do you feel responsible for the goals you set for your business?
  16. Are you open to feedback and willing to work towards actually acting on that feedback?
  17. How would you rate your level of discipline in terms of the amount of time and energy you invest in your venture?
  18. Do you have a set manner of tracking your efforts and its outcomes? If so, what is the goal tracking system you use?
  19. What beliefs you have towards your business, and making money?
  20. Get familiar with top values that are the driving force in your life, and especially when you think about entrepreneurship?
  21. What do you think about working with others in the context of business?

These questions will get you started to experience your own thinking around being an entrepreneur and if you are already an entrepreneur at work, then probably relook at some elements and facets that would require rethinking in a whole new way!
